This hand forged fire poker features a rounded handle with thumb rest for a comfortable grip. Made of 3/8" square stock steel, and measures about 28" in length. The 1.5" end is great for adjusting your firewood for the perfect flames, or raking hot coals or ashes. It features a decorative twist in the middle. Although each fire poker is made to look like the one pictured, slight differences do occur since each is individually hand made using a coal fire, anvil, and hammers in our blacksmith shop here on our Pennsylvania farm. We make these up as they are ordered, so we currently have a 2-week shipping estimate on all hand forged orders. We're also happy to do custom work upon request. All our hand-forged metal work is made with fire, anvil, hammers & other hand tools, just as a blacksmith would have used years ago. American-made quality designed to last a lifetime and beyond!
