Mountain Mint is a native perennial flower that smells like mint. Unlike true mint, it is not an invasive plant, but will come back year after year. You can also use mountain mint in teas and potpourris. It flowers in August here at the farm, producing clouds of white flowers that attract a variety of pollinators, like the Monarch butterflies you see in the photo. Perfect late summer blooms for a pollinator or wildlife garden!
Mountain Mint is perennial in zones 5-8. 2'-3' tall. May need staking in windy areas. Grows in average to moist soil, needs full sun.
