The Book of Water Gardening by Peter Bisset, published A.T. De La Mare Company, Inc. This is the 1924 revised second edition. The title page describes it as "giving in full detail all the practical information necessary to the selection, grouping, and successful cultivation of aquatic and other plants required in the makings of a water garden and it's surroundings, and covering all the conditions from that of the amateur with a few plants in tubs to the large estate or park." Hardcover, over 200 pages, and illustrated throughout with black and white photos of individual plants as well as large, famous gardens like Phipps Conservatory of Pittsburgh.

The cover has some discoloration on the top left corner of cover page as well as a long the bottom edge, but the gilded cover design is still in beautiful condition. Binding is secure and pages are intact with no foxing and minimal yellowing. Previous owner signed the inside cover page. A beautiful book with lots of useful information.
