Set of 2 vintage Wagner Ware cast iron skillets, sizes #3 & #6. Both are marked with the stylized logo, made in Sidney Ohio sometime in the 1930's-1950's. The larger skillet is marked with a 6 on the handle, the stylized logo on the bottom and the catalog number 1056 B. The smaller skillet is marked with a 3 on the top of the handle, the stylized Wagner Ware logo on the bottom and the catalog number 1053 I.
Wagner Wares of this era are equal in quality to Griswolds of the time. This was an estate sale find but has been professionally restored. It is a real piece of vintage Americana from about 80 years ago! Please see photos for further details on condition.
No cracks or chips. Both skillets have light utensil marks as expected from use over time. The 3 has a few spots of flea bite rust pitting which should season in with use. Beautiful display sides on both. The 3 sits flat, the 6 has a slight tick at room temperature on a granite counter. They are rust free, professionally restored via electrolysis and have been seasoned with multiple coats of grapeseed oil. Ready for use or display!
