Set of 3 vintage Wagner Ware cast iron skillets, sizes #3, #6, & #8. All are marked with the stylized logo, made in Sidney Ohio sometime in the 1930's-1950's. The largest skillet is marked with an 8 on the handle and the stylized Wagner Ware logo and 1058 N on the bottom. It measures 10.5" across, 15.5" in overall length including handle, and is 2" deep. The middle sized skillet is marked with a 6 on the handle, the stylized logo on the bottom and the catalog number 1056 X. The smallest skillet is marked with a 3 on the top of the handle, the stylized Wagner Ware logo on the bottom and the catalog number 1053D.
Wagner Wares of this era are equal in quality to Griswolds of the time. This was an estate sale find but has been professionally restored. It is a real piece of vintage Americana from about 80 years ago! Please see photos for further details on condition.
No cracks or chips. All skillets have light utensil marks as expected from use over time. The 8 sits flat, the 3 & 6 have a wobble and would not be recommended for glass top stoves. The 8 has a few light marks from rust on the cooking surface that will season in with use. They are rust free, professionally restored via electrolysis and have been seasoned with multiple coats of grapeseed oil. Ready for use or display!
