This listing is for a set of 2 hand forged hooks intended to display your favorite gun. They are lined with felt to prevent scratching. The felt is polyester and made from recycled water bottles. You can choose from the colors in stock in the drop down menu to match any decor. We can also make them without the felt lining. These gun hooks measure about 5.5" in length from top to bottom, and come away from the wall about 2.75". The inside of the hooks (where the gun will rest) measures around 1.5". The metal used to craft them is 1" wide x 3/16" thick. Two holes are drilled in each hook for secure mounting. Optional mounting hardware are 1 5/8" long, black, Phillips head screws which will fit into the recessed holes in the rack.
We are also happy to make hooks in this style to custom dimensions, feel free to contact us if you need something larger or smaller! The pictures are an accurate representation, but you may not get the exact one pictured due to slight differences since they are hand made. Sizes are approximate and may vary slightly. Hand forged metal work is handmade to order and requires a two week processing time before shipping.
We're also happy to do custom work, the hooks can be made in different sizes in this style upon request. All our hand-forged metal work is made with a fire, anvil, hammers & other hand tools, just as a blacksmith would have used years ago. American-made quality designed to last a lifetime and beyond!

Very nice pieces, solidly made, but they’re simply rolled flat bars. The pictures appear to show fluting on the sides of the ends, but the product lacks that artistic flourish. Still, I’ll keep these and use them, but not for my prize musket.
I'm sorry what you received was not exactly what you expected, but we have never created a fluted version of these hooks. The pictures are an accurate depiction of what you will receive. We are also always happy to discuss custom items if you have a design in mind for something other than what we have listed.
