Vintage 1931 copy of Essentials of Electricity, An Introductory Textbook for School and Shop, Direct Currents by W.H. Timbie. This is the revised second edition which was limited to 154,000 copies. It covers basic elements of electrical engineering, and the second edition also includes information on vacuum tubes, especially in regards to radio, plus electric meters. There are over 650 problems to test understand found throughout. There are numerous formulas, diagrams and charts found throughout the book.
Vintage estate find, please see photos. In good condition overall, has minor wear to cover corners and spine as well as slight discoloration in spots. Pages are intact and binding is tight. This was used for study, you will find the owner's name and address on the inside cover, and pencil notations, including problem solutions but is in great condition for its age.
