This hand forged fire pokeris made of 1/2" salvaged steel rebar, and measures about 36" in length. The end is great for adjusting your firewood for the perfect flames. It features a decorative handle that measures about 6" in length and is made of 2" square stock steel which is individually hand twisted in our forge before being securely welded to the rebar portion. The extra length compared to most pokers means you can stand back a little further if the fire is really hot! Although each fire poker is made to look like the one pictured, slight differences do occur since each is individually hand made using a coal fire, anvil, and hammers in our blacksmith shop here on our Pennsylvania farm. We make these up as they are ordered, so we currently have a 2-week shipping estimate on all hand forged orders. We're also happy to do custom work upon request. All our hand-forged metal work is made with a coal fire, anvil, hammers & other hand tools, just as a blacksmith would have used years ago. American-made quality designed to last a lifetime and beyond! We have other styles and sizes of fire pokers, plus more hand forged metal work for sale here.
We're always happy to discuss custom work as well!
PLEASE NOTE: All hand forged items are made to order and will take approximately 2 weeks to create and ship.
