Set of 6 vintage 1940's science magazines- 5 issues of Popular Science and one issue of Science and Mechanics. Popular Science issues are dated May 1941, September 1941, March 1942, December 1943, and July 1944. Science and Mechanics is the Oct-Nov 1940 issue. As these were published during World War II, many of the articles focused on the military and military technology and aviation. There are also plans and projects for readers to do at home in each issue.
Vintage estate find, please see photos. Overall in fair to good condition. Covers have creases and occasional small tears or missing edges. Pages may have staining.Some flaking of paper on the spine, but pages are still held together well. Pages have minimal yellowing and are not brittle- these are in very readable condition. A very neat look back at WWII technology, planes, submarines and more.
