Antique Doubleday-Hill Electric Company Catalog #5, 1914
Antique Doubleday-Hill Electric Company Catalog #5, 1914
Antique copy of the Doubleday-Hill Electric Company General Catalogue Number 5. I believe this edition dates to 1914. This is a fascinating look into the industrial past in the United States. Doubleday-Hill had warehouses in Pittsburgh and Charlotte. The catalog covers everything from poles and wire to fuse boxes, generators, tools, light fixtures and more. Black and white illustrations can be found on nearly every page. A large volume, over 700 pages.
Vintage estate find, please see photos. Significant damage to spine, probably from mice. Otherwise in great condition for age. The pages are intact and not yellow or brittle. There is some staining on pages containing an old bookmark but otherwise in beautiful condition. Binding is tight and this is easily readable.
