Set of 3 medical textbooks from the first half of the 1900s. Books include Physicians' Vitamin Reference Book, The Body at Work and A Civic Biology. These were schoolbooks published between 1911-1947. An interesting look back at American health and science, or a great trio of books in complimentary colors and subjects for display.

-Essentials of Pediatrics by Phillip C Jeans, A.B, M.D., Winifred Rand, A.B., R.N., & Florence G. Blake, R.N., M.A.. Published by J.B. Lippincott Company, 1947 , 4th edition. 627 pages including index. Illustrated with 86 black and white and 9 color illustratios. Former Library copy from St Luke's Hospital, School of Nursing, Cleveland.
-Practical Medical Chemistry, for Physicians and Students by Charles Platt and William A. Pearson. Published by John Jos. McVey of Philadelphia in 1911, Sixth edition, rewritten and enlarged. 260 pages including index however most text pages are blank on one side as shown and only the pages with text are numbered.
