Nice antique cast iron skillet, marked "Wagner" in block, capital letters, and the number 8. This was the original Wagner Ware skillet, made in Sidney Ohio sometime between 1891-1910. Measures 10.25" across, 15" with handle, 2" deep. Extremely lightweight for its size, and comparable to Griswold's Erie skillets in weight and quality.
Estate find, please see photos for more information on condition. Nice skillet, no chips or cracks. Sits flat on a granite countertop at room temperature. Minor flea bites and utensil marks on cooking surface. A light trace of sulphur pitting on the underside, a testament to the many meals this skillet has cooked over the years. Professionally restored via electrolysis and given multiple coats of grapeseed oil seasoning. Ready for use or display.
