Antique copy of Collier's Unabridged Edition of The Works of William Carleton, Volume I. Contains the following stories: Willy Reilly; Fardorougha, The Miser; The Black Baronet, or, The Chronicles of Bally-Train; and The Evil Eye, or the Black Spectre. No copyright date but I believe it to be an 1890 edition. Hardcover, 775 pages, and has black and white plate illustrations.
Vintage find, so please review all photos. Cover is solid but does have noticable wear, especially at corners and edges. Some staining and the gilding is faded. Binding is starting to crack at the inside cover but is currently intact and can be read if handled gently. Pages have some yellowing but are not brittle. Some stains may be found on select pages but in good condition for being over 130 years old!
