Antique cast iron skillet griddle, unknown maker. Probably dates from the 1800s. 9 on the underside of the handle, no other markings. Measures 11" across, 15.25" with handle. The handle comes to a pointed end, and the underside has some thicker areas on the bottom rim, almost like it was designed to sit on something specific. The bottom probably had a gate mark at some point, but has only sulfur pitting now, from years of use over a coal fire.
Vintage estate find, please see photos. No chips or cracks, sits flat. Small casting flaws on cooking surface as shown. Professionally restored via electrolysis and given multiple coats of grapeseed oil seasoning. In beautiful condition for use or display.
