Antique Climax tobacco cutter, made by A.C.W.W. Co and marked 2494 on bottom. It measures 18.5" in overall length, 7" high, 19.25" high with handle raised. Blade area is 4.5" wide by 2" high with blade raised. Solidly built, it weighs a little over 7 pounds. It has a hole at either side of the base to accommodate screws for those who wanted to secure it to a workbench.
Vintage find, please see photos for more information on condition. No chips, cracks or rust pitting. It originally had a plated finish which shows wear all over, but this gives it antique charm. It is in good working condition as shown in video, the handle moves freely and everything works as it should.
