Vintage Griswold #12 skillet with large block logo and heat ring, and marked Erie PA USA. Made between 1920-1929 in Erie Pennsylvania, only about 60 miles from our farm. Fully restored and seasoned so it is ready for use or display. Measures 19" long including handle and helper handle, 13.5" across and 2.5" deep. This skillet had a catalog number of 719. #12 skillets are one of the larger sizes and great for cooking for a crowd!
Estate find, please review all photos for more information on condition. No cracks or chips. One card wobble at room temperature on granite, no spin. The cooking surface has very light utensil marks. There are a couple factory imperfections, these casting flaws result from air bubbles in the iron. Overall this is a beautiful skillet, it will be difficult to find a nicer Griswold #12!
It is rust free, professionally restored via electrolysis. It has been seasoned with multiple coats of grapeseed oil. Ready for use or display.
