Vintage Griswold #3 cast iron skillet with small block logo, hinge tab and late handle, dates from 1944-1957. Made in Erie Pennsylvania, only about 60 miles from our farm. Fully restored and seasoned so it is ready for use or display. Measures 11 5" long including handle and hinge tab, 6.5" across and 1.25" deep. This skillet had a catalog number of 2503.
No cracks or chips, in good condition overall. Light utensil marks on cooking surface, please see photos. No rust pitting. Sand shift casting flaws on back and side as shown, these are NOT cracks. Slight, one card wobble if pressed at handle and hinge tab at room temperature on granite. It is rust free, professionally restored via electrolysis. It has been seasoned with multiple coats of grape seed oil. Ready for use or display.
