Here is a hard to find Griswold #4 with the small block logo and grooved handle. These skillets were produced in Erie, PA between 1944-1957, just 60 miles from our farm. The small block grooved handle skillets came in sizes #3-#9, this is the hardest size to find to complete the set. This skillet measures 7" wide, 11.5" long including handle, and is 1.5" deep. Marked 4 on upper handle, and bottom reads No 4, Griswold small block logo, Erie PA USA, 702 A. A number 2 is found in the groove of the handle.
No cracks or chips. Light utensil marks and a couple small flea bites inside but in excellent condition for use or display. Two small casting flaws near handle as shown in photos. Sits flat. It is rust free, professionally restored via electrolysis. It has been seasoned with multiple coats of grapeseed oil. Ready for use or display.
