Here is a hard to find Griswold #4 with the small block logo and late handle. These skillets were produced in Erie, PA between 1944-1957, just 60 miles from our farm. This skillet measures 7" wide, 11.5" long including handle, and is 1.5" deep. Marked 4 on upper handle, and bottom reads No 4, Griswold small block logo, Erie PA USA, 702 C. A number 1 is found on the underside of the handle.
No cracks or chips. Original swirl marks plus a few small casting flaws on the cooking surface as shown. Sits flat. It is rust free, professionally restored via electrolysis. It has been seasoned with multiple coats of grapeseed oil. Ready for use or display.
