Vintage Griswold #5 cast iron skillet with large block logo and smooth bottom, dates from the 1930's. Made in Erie Pennsylvania, only about 60 miles from our farm. Fully restored and seasoned so it is ready for use or display. Measures 12.25" long including handle, 8.25" across and 1.75" deep. This skillet had a catalog number of 724 and weighs 2 lb 7 oz. A great size for a grilled cheese sandwich or a couple of eggs!
Vintage estate find, please see photos. No chips or cracks. Uensil marks on the cooking surface as shown. Has a two card wobble on granite. It is rust free, professionally restored via electrolysis. It has been seasoned with multiple coats of grape seed oil. Ready for use or display.
