Vintage Griswold #6 cast iron skillet with small block logo and early handle, dates from 1939-1944. Made in Erie Pennsylvania, only about 60 miles from our farm. Fully restored and seasoned so it is ready for use or display. Measures 13.75" long including handle, 9.25" across and 2" deep and weighs 3 lb 2 oz. This skillet had a catalog number of 699 V.
No cracks or chips, in good condition overall. Sits flat on a granite counter at room temperature. Light utensil marks and a few flea bites, please see photos. Imperfections will season in with use and is still in good condition for regular use. It is rust free, professionally restored via electrolysis. It has been seasoned with multiple coats of grapeseed oil. Ready for use or display.
