Vintage Griswold #8 skillet with large block logo, smooth bottom, and marked Erie PA USA. Made between 1930-1939 in Erie Pennsylvania, only about 60 miles from our farm. Fully restored and seasoned so it is ready for use or display. Measures 15" long including handle, 10.5" across and 2" deep. It weighs 3 lb 12 oz. This skillet had a catalog number of 704 P. #8 skillets are large enough to cook a meal for the whole family!
Estate find, please review all photos for more information on condition. No cracks or chips. Two card wobble if pressed at pour spouts at room temperature on granite. The cooking surface has some utensil marks as shown. Overall, this skillet is ready to cook many more delicious meals.
It is rust free, professionally restored via electrolysis. It has been seasoned with multiple coats of grapeseed oil. Ready for use or display.
