Here is a Griswold #8 skillet with slant logo and marked Erie PA USA. Made between 1909-1929 in Erie Pennsylvania, only about 60 miles from our farm. Fully restored and seasoned so it is ready for use or display. Measures 15" long including handle, 10.5" across and 2" deep. This skillet had a catalog number of 704 M. #8 skillets are large enough to cook a meal for the whole family!
No cracks or chips. Minor utensil marks inside consistent with use, a couple small flea bite casting flaws. It does have a minor one card wobble if pressed at 2 or 8 o'clock. The underside is in gorgeous condition with no pitting. It has a sand shift casting flaw as shown across the middle of the skillet. A very nice skillet for daily use or display, in remarkable condition for being 100+ years old.
It is rust free, professionally restored via electrolysis. It has been seasoned with multiple coats of grapeseed oil. Ready for use or display.
