Here is a Griswold #8 skillet with slant logo and marked Erie only. Made between 1906-1912 in Erie Pennsylvania, only about 60 miles from our farm. Fully restored and seasoned so it is ready for use or display. Measures 15" long including handle, 10.5" across and 2" deep. This skillet had a catalog number of 704 J. #8 skillets are large enough to cook a meal for the whole family!

Estate find, please see photos. No cracks or chips. Minor utensil marks and a few flea bites inside consistent with use. One card wobble if pressed at 3 or 9 o'clock on granite at room temperature. The inside is in the beautiful, smooth condition antique Griswold skillets are known for with just light utensil marks. It does have some light sulphur pitting on the underside across the logo, the logo is still clearly visible. This was caused by the fuel used to fire the stove years ago (usually coal) and is a tribute to the many delicious meals cooked in this skillet over the years.

It is rust free, professionally restored via electrolysis. It has been seasoned with multiple coats of grapeseed oil. Ready for use or display.
