Griswold #9 skillet griddle in excellent condition . It is fully marked: Cast Iron Griddle, 9, The Griswold MFG CO., large block logo, Erie, PA USA, 609 A. This piece was made in Erie, PA between 1925-1940. A sizeable piece of cast iron cookware, it measures 11" at widest point and a full 15" including the length of the handle. This is a skillet griddle and has a flat cooking surface. It would be a joy to cook with. It also is in flawless condition and would make a great display piece as well.
Vintage estate find with no cracks or chips, but please review all photos. Light flea bites on cooking surface, minor sulfur pitting on the underside. Still ready to cook many more delicious meals, imperfections on cooking surface should season in with use. Sits flat at room temperature on a granite counter. It is rust free, professionally restored via electrolysis. It has been seasoned with multiple coats of grapeseed oil. Perfect for use or display!
