Nice set of vintage Griswold deep & shallow patty molds and the deep patty bowl #71. Patty bowl measures 4.25" across and 2.5" high. It is marked Deep Patty Bowl, Griswold block logo, Erie PA USA, 71. Patty molds include the two styles of shallow patty molds as well as both No. 2 deep patty molds. Two handles are included, these handles thread into any of the molds and are meant to be removed for easy storage.
The molds are dipped in batter and then dipped into hot oil in the patty bowl. The shallow molds make thin patties. The deep molds create cup-shaped patties that can be filled with savory or sweet filling. A copy of the original Griswold patty recipe will be included.
Vintage find, please see photos. The patty bowl has a few spots of uneven color inside, but that will season in with use. All parts have been professionally restored via electrolysis and given multiple coats of grapeseed oil seasoning. Ready for use or display.
