Vintage Good Health #8cast iron skillet by Griswold, dates from 1920's-1930's. These were made to be sold in hardware and department stores at a lower price point than fully marked Griswold, but have the same high quality. Made in Erie Pennsylvania, only about 60 miles from our farm. Fully restored and seasoned so it is ready for use or display. Measures 15.25" long including handle, 10.5" across and 2" deep. This skillet had a catalog number of 658.
No cracks or chips, sits flat, in good condition overall. Light utensil marks and a few spots of light pitting, please see photos. Small casting flaw on outside bottom. Imperfections will season in with use and is still in good condition for regular use. It is rust free, professionally restored via electrolysis. It has been seasoned with multiple coats of grapeseed oil. Ready for use or display.
