Here is a nice Griswold #8 with the small block logo and late handle. These skillets were produced in Erie, PA between 1944-1957, just 60 miles from our farm. The small block smooth bottom skillets came in sizes #3-#10. This skillet measures 10.5" wide, 15" long including handle, and is 2" deep. Marked 8 on upper handle, and bottom reads No 8, Griswold small block logo, Erie PA USA, 704 N.
No cracks or chips. Light utensil marks inside but in excellent condition for use or display. Slight wobble at room temperature, not recommended for glass top stoves. It is rust free, professionally restored via electrolysis. It has been seasoned with multiple coats of grapeseed oil. Some unevenness of color, should season in nicely with use. Ready for use or display.
