Very nice vintage Griswold #3 cast iron skillet with slant Erie logo and heat ring, dates from 1909-1929. Made in Erie Pennsylvania, only about 60 miles from our farm. Fully restored and seasoned so it is ready for use or display. Measures 10.5" long including handle, 6.5" across and 1.5" deep. This skillet had a catalog number of 709 B.
Vintage find, please see photos for more information on condition. No cracks or chips, in very nice condition overall. Casting flaw on the rim as shown. Light utensil marks and a few flea bites on the cooking surface, please see photos. Imperfections will season in with use and is still in good condition for regular use. One card wobble on granite at room temperature. It is rust free, professionally restored via electrolysis. It has been seasoned with multiple coats of grapeseed oil. Ready for use or display.
