Vintage Griswold #4 cast iron skillet with slant Erie logo and heat ring, dates from 1906-1912. Made in Erie Pennsylvania, only about 60 miles from our farm. Fully restored and seasoned so it is ready for use or display. Measures 11.25" long including handle, 7" across and 1.5" deep. This skillet had a catalog number of 702 and weighs 1 lb 13 oz. This is one of the more difficult sizes to find.
No cracks or chips, but please review all photos. Light utensil marks and some very shallow pitting on the cooking surface as shown . Imperfections will season in with use and is still in good condition for regular use. Slight wobble if pressed at pour spouts at room temperature on granite, barely one card. It is rust free, professionally restored via electrolysis. It has been seasoned with multiple coats of grapeseed oil. Ready for use or display.
