Vintage Griswold #10 cast iron skillet with small block logo and early handle, dates from 1939-1944. Made in Erie Pennsylvania, only about 60 miles from our farm. Fully restored and seasoned so it is ready for use or display. Measures 16.75" long including handle, 12" across and 2.25" deep. This skillet had a catalog number of 716 C.
No cracks or chips, in good condition overall. One card wobble if pressed about 4 o clock, it is hard to find a pan this large without a heat ring that sits perfectly flat. Light utensil marks and a few spots of light pitting, please see photos. Imperfections will season in with use and is still in good condition for regular use. Some original swirl marks from factory milling still visible. Please note, as shown in photos there are several casting flaws, including on the inside of the rim of the pan.
It is rust free, professionally restored via electrolysis. It has been seasoned with multiple coats of grapeseed oil. Ready for use or display.
