Vintage Griswold #5 cast iron skillet with small block logo and grooved handle, dates from 1944-1957. Made in Erie Pennsylvania, only about 60 miles from our farm. Fully restored and seasoned so it is ready for use or display. Measures 12.25" long including handle, 8.25" across and 1.75" deep. This skillet had a catalog number of 724 L.
Small chip on rim on opposite side of handle as shown. In very good condition otherwise. Very light utensil marks but beautiful factory swirl marks visible. Sits flat. It is rust free, professionally restored via electrolysis. It has been seasoned with multiple coats of grape seed oil. Ready for use or display.
