Set of 2 vintage Herd Health Guides, published by Hoard's Dairyman. These date from 1961 and 1970. Published by a popular Dairy magazine, they contain information on diseases affecting dairy cattle, breeding, calf care and other useful information. Each are softcover and 128 pages long including index. Black and white photos and illustrations are found throughout, along with color diagrams of the skeleton, major organs, and circulatory system of the cow.
Vintage finds, please see photos. Covers have wear and some foxing as shown. Pages have yellowed slightly but are not brittle. 1961 edition has a bit of water staining along the bottom edge, below the text. Still in very readable condition.
