Vintage coal mining machinery booklets from Joy Manufacturing, dating from the early 1950's. There are a total of 15 separate booklets, mostly advertising for equipment including a timber setter, 10SC-AC, 6-SC, 8-SC, 9-SC, 10-C, 14-RC, and 60-E-12 shuttle cars, the 1-CM and 5-CM continuous miner, the post puller, 14-BU loader, a "What's New" showcase from 1953, and an operation and maintenance manual for the Magnetax control. They feature black and white photos, stays and diagrams as well as model information about the various pieces of coal mining machinery.
Vintage estate find, please see photos for more information on condition. In very good condition overall with very minor corner wear but no other condition issues noted. Easy to handle for study, or would make interesting display pieces.
