7 vintage Life magazines, dating from April-May 1945. Issues include: April 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 and May 7 and 21. These magazines from the World War II era have a mix of news from the front lines and features on noteworthy leaders as well as articles about fashion, art, entertainment and Americana. The ads, often in full color, highlight the war effort across numerous industries. Fascinating for anyone who is interested in WW2 history or mid century trends
Vintage estate find, please see photos for more information. While we have gently wiped these magazines down, they were stored in an old warehouse for many years and may have residual dust. Some issues have minor water damage or light foxing. Corners or entire issues maybe bent. The April 16 cover (Eisenhower) is missing a portion of the lower right front cover as shown. Overall condition is fair to good. All pages seem to be intact otherwise and the magazines are quite readable.
