Here is a gorgeous vintage Favorite Piqua Ware cast iron skillet griddle, size #9, made in Piqua, Ohio sometime between 1916-1934. It is known to collectors as the "smiley" logo for the curved line under the Favorite Piqua Ware logo on bottom. It is marked with the smiley logo and 9 underneath, the top side has no markings. It measures 10.25" across cooking surface, 15" in overall length including handle, and is 10.75" across bottom heat ring area. This was an estate sale find but has been professionally restored. It is a real piece of vintage Americana from about 100 years ago!
No cracks or chips, sits flat. Minor flea bites across cooking surface should season in with use. Some original swirl marks still visible. In great condition for use or display.
It is rust free, professionally restored via electrolysis. It has been seasoned with multiple coats of grapeseed oil.
