Antique copy of the Pittsburgh Auto Equipment Co. Automotive Equipment Catalogue Number 10. This was a wholesale only catalog dating from 1926. This is a fascinating look into the industrial past in the United States in general and Pittsburgh in particular. The warehouse was located at 5808-10 Baum Blvd, Pittsburgh and there are a couple period photos of the location in the front of the catalog. The catalog covers everything from fenders to carburetors to machinist tools and shelving and more. Parts were available for numerous makes of vehicles. Black and white illustrations can be found on nearly every page. A hardcover volume, it is over 350 pages.
Vintage estate find, please see photos. Some staining to cover as shown, mostly on the spine and back cover. Some wear to corners and spine edges as expected for age.The front cover is still striking with vibrant color. Otherwise in very good condition for age. The pages are intact and not yellow or brittle. Binding is tight and this is easily readable. An exceptional find, these catalogs had limited printing and weren't designed to be saved. Lots of interesting information for vintage car collectors and those interested in automotive history!
