Has 47 chapters covering subjects such as: field work, office work, chaining, reading angles, use of the transit, plotting the map, earthwork computations, and much more. Numerous black and white diagrams, tables, and photos are found throughout. A fold out magnetic declination map is found inside.
A beautiful surveying book in excellent condition. Gilding on spine is in great shape, corner of covers are slightly bent. Does have the original owner's name on the inside cover page and some passages are underlined in what looks like red pencil. No other condition issues. In beautiful condition for being close to 80 years old!
