Set of 4 books by the International Textbook Company of Scranton, PA. This was a mail order degree company which provided certificates in a variety of mechanical and industrial fields. Set includes the following: 349C- Combustion Engine Fuels and Heat, c. 1931; 351B- Stationary Diesel Engines, c. 1935; 352B- Marine Gas and Diesel Engines, c. 1937; and 356 B- Diesel Engine Details and Management, c. 1935. All three of the diesel engine books include fold out diagrams, which seem to be in great condition.
These books were designed for at-home study and are complete with instructional text, mathematical formulas, diagrams, charts and graphs to illustrate concepts. An interesting look back at engineering education from nearly 100 years ago.

Minor wear to cover, especially to corners, as expected for a book that is nearly 90 years old! Diesel Engine Details and Combustion Engine Fuels have some insect damage to first couple pages as shown. Some This set would be great for study or display.
