Appears to be a second edition with the first having a copyright date of 1889. Hardcover, 388 pages including index. Contains some black and white illustrations and color maps scattered throughout. A fascinating book covering ancient Greece, Egypt, Rome and more with perspectives from over a century ago.
Antique copy, please review all photos. There is a noticable tear on the spine and wear to the cover, especially at corners and edges. Some pages have marks in pen or pencil and may have folded corners or small tears. Pages are yellow but not brittle. Very readable condition. An interesting look at history published over 100 years ago!
