Set of 2 booklets from the Singer Sewing Library, The Modern Singer Way from the 1930's. Includes Book #3, How to Make Children's Clothes from 1931 and book #4, How to Make Draperies, Slip Covers, Custoons and other Home Furnishings The Modern Singer Way, 1934. Both are 64 pages long and contain plenty of black and white illustrations. These do not contain actual patterns, but give specifics on techniques for improving patterns you may have, or provide small scale illustrations for you to create in the size you want. Lots of tips and ideas that are helpful even today, as well as beautiful little booklets that would look great on display in a sewing room or Singer collection.
Vintage find, please see photos. Some stains on covers, corners have folds and small tears. Book 3 has light water stains. Binding staples have rust but pages are secure. Slight yellowing to pages, but they are not brittle. Very readable copies.
