Vintage cast iron #8 skillet in the "ugly hammered" style, maker unknown. Because the maker is unknown, the exact age is as well, but it is generally believed that ugly hammered pieces date from the 1930s-1940s. The bottom of the skillet is completely unmarked, there is a B on the underside of the handle and an 8 on top. Measures 10" across, 14.25" with handle, and 2" deep. This is a heavy piece that will hold heat well, the skillet weighs nearly 6 lbs.
