Lodge #10 cast iron skillet, made in the 1930's in South Pittsburg Tennessee. Known to collectors as a three notch skillet for the breaks in the heat ring, this also has the raised mold mark called the blob, with a raised number 2. Measures 11" across, 16.75" with handle, and 2.25" deep. Weighs about seven and a half pounds.
Vintage find, please see photos. No cracks, chips or rust pitting. Exceptional factory swirl marks on the cooking surface. Sits nearly flat- no movement if pressed at 6 and 12, less than one card movement if pressed between 3 and 9 on granite. Professionally restored via electrolysis and given multiple coats of grapeseed oil seasoning. Arrives ready for use or display.
