Nice vintage Wagner Ware Fat Free Fryer cast iron skillet griddle, catalog number 1102. Made in Sidney, Ohio sometime in the 1930's-1950's. It is marked with the stylized Wagner Ware logo, Fat Free Fryer , Pat. Appld For, and 1102 C on the bottom. It measures 11.25" across, 16" in overall length including handle, and is just 1" deep. This unique style of skillet has a rim around the edge to collect grease.
Wagner Wares of this era are equal in quality to Griswolds of the time. This was an estate sale find but has been professionally restored. Please review all photos for more information on condition. It is a real piece of vintage Americana from about 80 years ago!
No cracks or chips, sits flat at room temperature. Bottom is gorgeous. Cooking surface has a significant amount of light rust pitting as shown but would still cook up bacon or sausage nicely. Pitting should season in with use, or enjoy using it for display. It is rust free, professionally restored via electrolysis. It has been seasoned with multiple coats of grapeseed oil.
