Beautiful vintage Wagner Ware #8 cast iron skillet griddle, catalog number 1108. Made in Sidney, Ohio sometime in the 1930's-1950's. It is marked with the stylized Wagner Ware logo and 1108 A on the bottom. It measures 9.5" across cooking surface, 13.75" in overall length including handle, and is 10" across bottom.
Wagner Wares of this era are equal in quality to Griswolds of the time. This was an estate sale find but has been professionally restored. It is a real piece of vintage Americana from about 80 years ago!
No cracks or chips. One card wobble if pressed on a granite counter, not recommended for glass top stoves. Bottom is gorgeous, but please review all photos. Cooking surface is in good shape for use with only minor flea bites which should season over. It is rust free, professionally restored via electrolysis. It has been seasoned with multiple coats of grapeseed oil.
