Vintage Wagner Ware cast iron skillet, size #9, made in Sidney Ohio sometime in the 1930's-1950's. This is one of the harder to find sizes in the Wagner Ware smooth bottom series. It is marked with a 9 on the handle and the stylized Wagner Ware logo and 1059 on the bottom. It measures 11.5" across, 16.25" in overall length including handle, and is 2.25" deep.
Wagner Wares of this era are equal in quality to Griswolds of the time. This was an estate sale find but has been professionally restored. It is a real piece of vintage Americana from about 80 years ago!
No cracks or chips. Cooking surface has a few minor utensil marks plus some original factory swirl marks, please see photos. Has a slight one card wobble on granite at room temperature if pressed. No spin. This is a nice pan and sure to be a favorite to cook in! It is rust free, professionally restored via electrolysis. It has been seasoned with multiple coats of grapeseed oil.
